Behind The Words

Cheryl Lynn is a registered Metaphysical Minister and non denomination wedding officiant in the Edmonton area. She provides pre marital counselling, vow renewals and wedding ceremonies in Alberta. This page is dedicated to the ministry of curating the contracts and commitments that mark the beginnings and passages of life's events with ceremony. 


Love is the energy that has the POWER to heal, transform and create. Commitment is the act of infusing the power of the written word to be taken as sacred. 


My work as a metaphysical minister is to take words and curate a ceremony that honors and reflects the life events we experience. Whether we create relationships, transitions, or transformations, I use the power of the written word and the commitment to the energy of love to make life events meaningful.


This ministry is dedicated to the ceremonies, circles and gatherings for all life events with recognition using ritual, traditions, prayer and gathering.

What Is A Metaphysics?

In the definition found in most dictionaries, metaphysics is referred to as a branch of philosophy that deals with first cause and the nature of being. 

What Does A Metaphysical Minister Do?

My practice is grounded in the laws of cause and effect and the perceptions of actuality and possibility. Metaphysics is religion without dogma and the principles I use are based in spirituality, karma and the laws of quantum science. 


I am ordained and able to perform ministry services and as a Metaphysical Minister I have the freedom to perform services that reflect an individuals faith by using the language such as God/Universe/Source/Goddess/One to honor their beliefs.

The Meaning Of Love In A Ministry

Most people think of love as a feeling but within the practice of the ACTL ministry I use the energy of Love to define the actions, commitments and behaviors to create future karma. Some call this manifesting but in Metaphysics it is understood more as the cause and effect of how we live now that defines our future outcomes. 

Love As Energy

Here are a few principles of the energy of Love:

  • Radical Love is the act of loving the self 
  • Relational Love is the act of love in union with another 
  • Invoking Universal Love is accessing the field of grace where we work to transcend the past and create desired karma 

The Crede Of A Commitment To Love Ministry

Harm None is the crede of my ministry. When we seek to cause no harm we take the time to stop and consider how our actions, words and behaviors will impact and influence our relationships. When we can authentically interact without harm, even with ourselves, we live in the energy of love.
