Reverend Cheryl is a certified end-of-life doula who provides workshops for end of life planning and performs end of life celebrations.
Her work involves using ritual, tradition, prayer, and gathering to mark the passages of life's events with ceremony, making life sacred and meaningful.
What is a Metaphysical Ceremony?
As a metaphysical minister, I provide wedding ceremonies in Alberta that can be simple, traditional or cultural that reflect a couple's values.
In a Metaphysical Ministry I have the freedom to provide circles, ceremony and rituals in the Edmonton area that reflect an individual's spirituality by using language that aligns with their beliefs from any faith, tradition or culture.
What Is Metaphysics?
Metaphysics is a broad practice founded upon universal laws, the laws of cause and effect, and the perceptions of actuality and possibility.
Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy rooted in the nature of being. It attempts to understand the mystery of being connected to a force greater than we are. Practitioners work with the laws and this understanding to live with and create good Karma.
The Universal Laws
The Law of Divine Oneness: This principle suggests that everything in the universe is interconnected and part of a unified whole and that what each person can affect the whole.
The Law of Vibration: This law asserts that everything in existence vibrates at a certain frequency, including thoughts, emotions, to include the physical.
The Law of Correspondence: This principle is similar to the mirror effect saying that there is a as direct relationship between what you think and feel on the inside and what you see on the outside.
The Law of Compensation: This law suggests that you will receive back in your life what you put out into the world. This law is similar to the concept of cause and effect. Everything we experience was originated by what you put out and the experience is the exact return of the output.
The Law of Attraction: This law proposes that thoughts and actions bring into being the outcomes where those energies are invested. The quality of the outcome is determined by the law of vibration matching outcomes to a persons vibrational energy in what we think and do.
The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy: This law states that energy is constantly in motion, fluctuating and changing. Nothing remains the same, meaning we too are always changing by way of our own energy.
The Law of Cause and Effect: For every action there is a reaction and this law states this simple concept. However simple the important aspect of the effect is gestation, suggesting that there is a lag between our behaviors and what see in our reality.
The Law of Relativity: This law suggests that everything exists and is relative only to what we perception assign to it. The universe strives for balance, with everything having a corresponding opposite and when it is out of balance there is a righting.
The Law of Polarity: This law states that everything has an opposite or a polarity. Opposites are necessary to mirror truth on it's polar opposite and seeing the truth of itself.
The Law of Rhythm: This law suggests that everything in the universe moves in cycles, patterns, and gestation. Harmony and flow are the rhythm of the universe.
The Law of Gender: This law states that every thing and every human has both masculine and feminine energy, and that these qualities are necessary for creation and manifestation and require balance and harmony much like the polar opposites.
